“It was disgusting and horribly unprofessional”: Ezra Miller Allegedly Shouted and Spit at Director of 2020 Whoopi Goldberg Series Based on Stephen King Lore
Ezra Miller’s erratic behavior has often sparked intense speculation and scrutiny in recent days. The actor’s sudden decline in fame is directly proportional to all the controversies and alleged crimes they are involved in. From fighting a fan at the grocery store, to having an alleged inappropriate relationship with a minor, the actor Ezra Miller has surpassed the audience’s expectations. The stories of their erratic behaviors have also been in the spotlight for some time now, one such instance has been narrated by Kevin Armstrong. The director shared his experience of working with Miller on the 2020 Whoopi Goldberg series based on Stephen King Lore, The Stand.
The actor reportedly was shouting and spitting in between takes, which made the environment very hostile to work in. He said,
“It was disgusting and horribly unprofessional—People on set were not feeling safe,”
People were scared to the point where the legal counsel and manager of Miller were called on to resolve the issue. The actor also shared their offensive sense of humor during their working days. One of which was,
“It was something to the effect of: A Jew, a Black man, and a gay man walk into a bar, and the bartender said, ‘Hey, what are you doing here? You don’t belong here,”
This further made people very uncomfortable working with the actor.

Miller seems to have understood how their actions have been affecting the people around them. So much so that they have also put out a statement explaining their side of the story and apologizing,
“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
Ahead of the release of the movie The Flash, which will finally see the light of day on the 16th of July, people are excited about the movie regardless of the conversion surrounding the lead. Not just fans, Michael Shannon, has also shown his support for the actor. He revealed,
“If you’re talking about Ezra [Miller], I thought Ezra was lovely – very kind to me when I was there—It’s difficult to talk about, but I always give people a lot of slack in this business, because there’s a lot of people in this business that have issues. And some people have more privacy than others.”
Their performance in the movie has also been gaining love and appreciation. According to Shannon, it is essential to separate the artist from their art and understand the complexities of an actor’s creative process and therefore he sympathizes with all who face such difficulties.
