Christina Aguilera on losing her virginity late

“It’s so funny that I gave this persona because I probably was the last person to lose my virginity,—It was something that was for me. I guess that’s why my messages went the way they did too because I owned it first, maybe.”
She then kept her answer as vague as possible upon being asked about when exactly she lost her virginity. The singer said,
“It was later than you would think, given the girl that was doing ‘Dirrty’ and all this stuff. It’s more of a funny thing looking back.”
She claimed she was nothing as she portrayed herself on stage. Instead, she was in search of comfort. The star then narrated one of her s*xual encounters and expressed her grief for her poor younger self.
“I had certain dancers that were close. You’re traveling a lot and you have accessibility to only certain things. The pop idol did not like dating people from the same work field right from the begging. She already knew how her life was, and dating someone within the entertainment industry would make it even worse according to her opinion. She said,
“I didn’t really have time for that. I always went for things that I would feel safe about.”
The singer then further elaborated on the topic saying,
“My life is hectic enough, and this is a very narcissistic industry. My anxieties couldn’t maybe take somebody that did the exact same thing I did,–I know how this goes. I’m too vulnerable for this. I’m too sensitive to be so paranoid.”
As she had gone through various ups and downs in her life, she sought comfort in the person she was dating. Aguilera is currently engaged to her fiance Matthew Rutler and shares a child with him.
