The actor who played the lead role in the movie The Dark Knight Rises knew when to be serious and have a fun time on the set. Hathaway talked about how happy she was when she started working with him, but she also said that it was an overwhelming feeling, Hathaway said,
“I felt so lucky that most of my scenes were with Christian because he’s one of the world’s greatest actors and he and Chris do have a shorthand. They have such an ease working together that it helped me relax, especially in the early days.”
She further added,
“Here I am working with Christian Bale and Chris Nolan is directing me and Wally Pfister is lighting me and I’m in a catsuit. It was somewhat overwhelming.”
The 40-year-old actress felt it was a daunting task to play the demanding role in the movie, but the director Christopher Nolan and Bale helped her with it.
Anne Hathaway says Christian Bale set a good example for her
The Intern actress also explained that Christian Bale’s acting experience helped her to do better in the movie. Hathaway said he was always very calm on the sets of the movie. Hathaway talked about Bale and said during the interview,
“I think because Christian had been there for so long, he just was so calm, always quick to laugh and have a good time but at the same time was really serious about work. He set such a great example and it was just really easy to kind of fall in step.”
Hathaway also spoke about how difficult it was for her to shoot in her catsuit. The actress said her catsuit made her feel odd and uncomfortable. The Interstellar actress said it was funny at the same time when she used to be in her catsuit all the time and Bale was dressed as Batman.
