According to director Christopher McQuarrie, stunts in the eighth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise, are on a much higher level in comparison to the Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. 

During an interview with the media outlet Insider, director Christopher McQuarrie spoke about the stunts performed by the Top Gun star in the upcoming Mission Impossible movie. He went on to reveal that the best stunts of the Mission Impossible franchise are on their way in the eighth chapter. He said-

“It’s coming. You haven’t seen it yet. I mean, everything we do… In terms of this movie, definitely the motorcycle jump. But we have continued and we’ve pushed ourselves even further in Part Two, and you’ll see. It’s terrifying.”

According to a revelation made by the Mission Impossible 7 director, the Paramount Studio was not informed about the death-defying motorcycle stunt of the actor. While referring to the Covid pandemic time when the filming of Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One was conducted, Christopher McQuarrie confessed-

“Well, fortunately, we were in one country, they were in another country, and communication was pretty fuzzy at that time in the world. I don’t think they really knew what they were getting involved in until we sent it to them, which is kind of the case. We talk about things in the abstract, but until they really see it… I don’t think any of us fully grasped what we were getting ourselves into until we did it.”

During Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One’s London premiere Tom Cruise spoke about why he never takes anything for granted while working on his projects. The Academy Award-nominated actor said-

“I don’t take anything for granted when making these films, especially with that time period, I’m just very proud of what we all did together. You know, when you look at the film and see what we accomplished together, it meant even more. I’m proud of everyone for what they did to get through that.”

Tom Cruise recently celebrated his 61st birthday with the cast of his upcoming Mission Impossible movie. The actor looked in no mood to hang his boots on the sets of the billion-dollar franchise that made him one of the most well-known faces in the world of entertainment across the world.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is slated to release on July 12, 2023 worldwide.
