The official teaser for Netflix’s docuseries, Harry & Meghan, dropped recently. The documentary is set to help Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in telling their fans their side of the story of why they left their royal duties behind. Rumors claim that the couple did not go easy on Kate Middleton and Prince William as they have been portrayed as villains. The highly-anticipated documentary will be out very soon. As per reports, Meghan Markle is also currently working on a bombshell memoir that is expected to expose the dark side of the royal family. The couple has been criticized in the past for carrying out these “attacks” on the royal family.
Are Kate Middleton and Prince William the villains in the docuseries?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are eager to tell their story on Netflix’s docuseries, Harry & Meghan. No official date has been confirmed for its release but it is expected to come out soon. Kate Middleton and Prince William’s friends are reportedly not happy because the two are portrayed as villains in the docuseries. Royal commentator and Daily Mail Diary Editor, Richard Eden, said in his interview with Mail+,
“I was appalled when I watched this trailer, frankly. It’s everything we feared, it really is. I’ve heard from friends of Prince William and Catherine today, and they’ve been frankly sickened by what’s appeared in this video. The use of William and Catherine and the image and the way it’s presented, my goodness.”
The worst part as per him was when Markle started crying and a picture of a “stony-faced, stern image of Catherine at Westminster” from Commonwealth Day back in March 2020 appeared in the teaser.
Richard Eden thinks Meghan Markle is acting
Richard Eden believes the Suits star intentionally emphasized the “tears.” He said,
“I mean come on, Meghan is meant to have given up acting but she seems to be back acting again for this reality show or documentary series. We don’t just see her in tears at one point. That’s not enough: not one single tear dripping down her cheek. No, no, she has to rub her face to emphasize these tears. This could be an Oscar-winning performance.”
The picture that was featured in the teaser was from March 2020 when Kate Middleton and Prince William refused to make eye contact with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle due to increasing tensions in their relationship. Including this specific picture hints that the two will most definitely reveal some information that will paint Kate Middleton and Prince William as villains.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also working on their memoirs
Many sources have claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also working on their personal memoirs in which they will explain their experience in detail. It was revealed that Prince Harry was “deeply unhappy” due to his family’s attitude after his marriage. So he decided to move away from the Royal Family with his wife. The couple stepped down from their royal duties and moved to California in January 2020.
