It’s Strange How TV/Movies Predicted Future In Their Scenes
Movies and TV shows are a good way to portray imaginative stuff that we know doesn’t exist. We somehow get lost in these movies/shows and live in the dreamy world that they portray. We also tend to believe in stuff that they show. We’re aware that all this is a hoax but there are a few movies/shows that have somehow predicted the future in their scenes and that have happened!!! So, here’s a list of how TV/movies have predicted the future. Check it out! Also, let us know in the comments if you have noticed any such strange detail.
1. The Simpsons
In 2000, they aired an episode where Bart traveled to the future. The episode shows Lisa as the President and she addresses her predecessor as “President Trump”.
2. Parks And Recreation, Season 7
In one of the episodes of Season 7, Tom’s ex-girlfriend mentions that Chicago Cubs will win the World Series in 2016. And guess what? They won it in 2016 after 108 years!
3. Demolition Man (1993)
When John Spartan was sent to the cryo-prison, there was a name “Scott Peterson” on the inmate list. Scott is the person who killed his wife and unborn child in 2002- nine years after this film was released.
4. 30 Rock
In one of the scenes, we can see they call out Harvey Weinstein for sexual harassment. Five years later, these accusations became public about him.
5. The Lone Gunmen
The world remembers the unforgettable 9/11. Right? Well, some people believe that The Lone Gunmen sort of predicted this in one of their scenes. It shows computer hackers taking control over a passenger plane and trying to it into the World Trade Center.
6. Scrubs
In one of the episodes that aired in 2007, one of the janitors says the US should look for Obama Bin Laden in Pakistan. After four years, the same happens! He was found hiding in Pakistan.
7. Supernatural
In a 2009 episode, Dean goes to the future and sees that the country is hit by a virus named “Croatoan Virus” and people are hoarding toilet papers. Well, a virus that starts with “C” and people hoarding up essentials? Ahem. You know what I’m talking about!
8. Tangled

9. Pandemic
In January 2020, Netflix released a docuseries on how to tackle the outbreak of illnesses spread through viruses and how we can prevent it. Exactly two months later the world was hit by Coronavirus.
10. Star Trek: The Next Generation
This aired in ’80’ and ’90s and showed characters using devices called Personal Access Display Devices (PADDs) that somehow looked like iPads. But the point is, iPads weren’t invented at that time. Maybe the design was inspired from here, lol.
11. Fanhenheit 451
This isn’t a movie or show, but a book. However, it deserves to be on the list. Why? That’s because Ray Bradbury, the author mentioned a character who was having mini radios in her ears- a description that eerily describes the wireless ear pods we use today.
