However, her early fame has affected her negatively too, just like every coin has two sides to it. One of her online experiences threw her off-balance and left her questioning her decisions. Now, she is wondering if A.I. means Artificial Intelligence or Absurd Interface. Well, according to her experience that she revealed, it’s quite evident that she is not that pleased with what A.I. can do.

Although there’s no doubt that Artificial Intelligence has made everything easier and most things possible, it has its flaws too. It’s surely a double-edged sword and there’s no denying that. Jenna Ortega completely agrees with the claim as she herself is a victim of the dark power of A.I.

During an interview with Lulu Garcia-Navarro, writer and co-host of The Interview for The New York Times, the Miller’s Girl actress mentioned how she absolutely hates A.I. The reason behind her hatred towards A.I. is the horrific incident that she encountered when she was just 14.

She revealed that someone edited out a dirty image of her, which she saw through her Twitter account. She was completely shocked by it and realized how dangerous A.I. can be in the wrong hands.

Did I like being 14 and making a Twitter account because I was supposed to and seeing dirty edited content of me as a child? No. It’s terrifying. It’s corrupt. It’s wrong.

As a mere child, Ortega went through a very hard time trying to digest the fact that people can use A.I. for such things too. Although she admits that A.I. is a wonderful tool in the medical field, she still can’t bring herself to like it knowing very well the negative consequences.

It’s not like Ortega is the only one who was affected by the fake images generated through A.I. Pop singer Taylor Swift has also been a victim of this ridiculous use of technology. Celebrities like Scarlett Johansson and Cardi B have also spoken against the use of A.I. for the creation of fake images or videos impersonating them.

Earlier this year, a horde of NSFW AI-generated images of Swift were swarming the internet. The incident gained the attention of the singer’s fans as well as the SAG-AFTRA, which openly criticized the fake images in a statement (via Variety).

Even Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella admitted to NBC News that the kind of ridiculous content being produced with A.I. was alarming and terrible. On being asked about Swift’s fake images, Nadella mentioned that he himself is ready to take the required action against it.
