Jack Nicholson’s Daughter Lorraine Revealed He Had a “Full-blown party” at Cedars-Sinai The Day She Was Born
Hollywood veteran Jack Nicholson won numerous accolades including three Academy Awards, three BAFTA Awards, six Golden Globe Awards, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. The retired actor and filmmaker also received the American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award in 1994 and Kennedy Center Honor in 2001.
The first movie in which Jack Nicholson ever appeared as an actor was Tales of Wells Fargo. He went on to work in show business for more than five decades and starred in some of the best movies of all time such as One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and As Good As It Gets. His daughter Lorraine Nicholson chose to follow in his footsteps. Recently, she revealed an interesting detail about her father regarding the day she was born.
Jack Nicholson’s Daughter Made an Interesting Revelation
Jack Nicholson has six children. However, it is important to note that he has had them with five different women, as he is known for having difficulty in settling down. His longest relationship was with actress Anjelica Huston whom he dated on and off for 17 years, from 1973 to 1990.
When Nicholson’s relationship with Huston ended, former actress and model Rebecca Broussard was pregnant with the Anger Management actor’s first child. This child was a girl named Lorraine Nicholson, who was born in April 1990. Broussard had another child with the Academy Award-winning actor.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Lorraine Nicholson made an interesting revelation regarding the day of her birth, saying:
“I believe my parents had a full-blown party in the room at Cedars-Sinai because adults are constantly coming up to me saying, ‘I was there the day you were born.’”

The Soul Surfer actress even said that Robert Evans had clicked a picture of her in her father’s arms as a baby. Two days after her birth, her mother Rebecca Broussard showed up in garters to crash a lunch party at the Polo Lounge in which Jack Nicholson was celebrating his newfound fatherhood.
Jack Nicholson Has a Good Relationship with His Children
Despite having a busy schedule considering how great Jack Nicholson is as an actor, he tried his best to be there with his kids. Moreso, for the kids he had with Rebecca Broussard who are two of his youngest children. He revealed what kind of father he was to Lorraine and Raymond Nicholson in 2008.
In the March/April issue of AARP Magazine (via People) in 2008, Jack Nicholson was interviewed for a feature story in which he discussed what fatherhood was like for him, saying:
“I want to be inspirational, or some kind of good influence on them without overburdening them. It’s their time of life to find out who they are. I always read to them, from childhood on; I think that’s a father’s responsibility. I took them to things I knew they might not love — opera, ballet. They like going to the ball games with me. And they are very comfortable around show business; they are good set rats.”
Nicholson had said that the parenting duties were divided between him and Broussard and that they would get along quite well with their children. He spoke about both of his children quite affectionately.
