Since the ending of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2, the fanatics of the lovable space pirates have presumed the appearance of Adam Warlock in the threequel. Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) name-dropped the character in one of the post-credit scenes of the movie. However, James Gunn’s response is quite a veto.

Gunns Dismisses The Idea That Adam Warlock Will Be Seen In GOTG3

In one of the Q&As conducted by Gunns on his Instagram account, he was asked about the actor who would play Adam Warlock in the upcoming movie. He subtly stated that he never said Adam Warlock was in the film. The makers of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame wanted to add the character in the film, but they dropped the idea later. As screenwriter Christopher Markus said, the character has a vast backdrop of its own. Practically, only a whole movie on  Adam Warlock will be able to introduce him. He also stated that despite having many more characters. , they could not use them because of their massive backbend. The role of Silver Surfer is one of them.

Guardians of The Galaxy 3 Theories: The Events of Infinity War and Endgame

GOTG3 has various theories related to Marvel’s Infinity War and Endgame attached to it

The primary ideology that the events of ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’ would have on future films, and not just GOTG3, would be the distorted timelines and the creation of a possible multiverse. The first looks of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home confirmed this’. Most future films in the MCU are set in the present of the MCU timeline (five years since the events of ‘Infinity War’ in 2023). The other significant bearing that allowed this film to happen is that following Hulk’s snap-in ‘Endgame’, the guardians that had died are now back. That would include Star-Lord, Drax, Groot, and Mantis, apart from the surviving Rocket and Nebula.  Also, Nebula will be on the side of the Guardians this time.
