The former president and CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, and his long-time girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez are reportedly engaged. Sánchez is a former broadcast journalist, who has held positions as a news anchor and entertainment reporter.
The two are currently attending the Cannes Film Festival in the South of France, where they have been partying with the stars. The couple made their first public appearance together on Monday night after announcing their engagement. Recently engaged were seen leaving the Cap du Cap-Eden-Roc hotel while attending the Cannes Film Festival.
Since Sanchez, 53, was spotted wearing a diamond on her ring finger, rumors have been flying about their alleged engagement this week.
Since they began dating in 2018, the 59-year-old billionaire and broadcast journalist have been inseparable.
News of their relationship first surfaced in 2019. But the couple remained under the radar until his divorce from his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, was finalized.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have been flaunting their PDA and claiming to be “completely in love” since becoming engaged.
The 59-year-old proposed to his stunning girlfriend while they were traveling around the Mediterranean on his $500 million superyacht.
Sanchez, an Emmy Award-winning journalist, was spotted flashing a sizable diamond ring on her wedding finger after spending the weekend cuddling up to the billionaire. The diamond looks to be a marginal upgrade from the heart-shaped, yellow diamond worth 7 to 10 carats that Bezos gave to Sánchez in 2019.
According to Ajay Anand of Rare Carat, who believes Jeff Bezos would spend that much money on a high-quality stone, the “absolute monster” ring would weigh 20 carats and cost about $2.5 million.
According to a source, the couple made sure to display their affection when they docked at Cannes after the proposal.
“They were all over each other. I mean, they’re always affectionate, but they could not keep their hands off each other.”
It is now believed that the couple is in the process of planning their wedding. “I can’t imagine it will be quiet; I think it will be a Who’s Who of people,” a source told Page Six.
The couple first made their relationship known to the public in 2019. Since then, they have also collaborated on various projects like the Bezos Earth Fund.

Prior to Lauren Sanchez, Jeff Bezos was married for 25 years to author and philanthropist, MacKenzie Scott. Together, they are parents to four kids. After their divorce in April 2019, Scott married and later divorced Dan Jewett.
In January 2019, only a few days after the news of Bezos and his ex-wife’s divorce, the relationship between Bezos and Sanchez was made public. Also, in early December 2019, when she was spotted wearing a sizable heart-shaped ring, rumors of the couple’s engagement started circulating.
