Jeremy Allen White’s ‘The Bear’ Training Couldn’t Save Actor From “Embarrassing” Himself on Thanksgiving
When we hear Jeremy Allen White’s The Bear TV series, the first thing that pops into our minds is the thriving young chef who did everything to run his deceased brother’s sandwich shop despite being an incredible chef.
However, what’s intriguing to know is that the actor recently mentioned being extremely embarrassed in front of almost 30 people. Jeremy Allen White who’s immensely commended for his work in the hit TV series, revealed that he couldn’t carve a Turkey for dinner this Thanksgiving at one of his friend’s house.
Jeremy Allen White Was Left Extremely Embarrassed This Thanksgiving
Celebrities have been sharing wishes and love with their fans this Thanksgiving, and The Bear star Jeremy Allen White has revealed being exceedingly humiliated in front of almost 30 people gathered for dinner. While appearing on The Jimmy Kimmel Live, White shared his cooking skills, what it’s like to go to restaurants, and the Turkey disaster.
The actor is known for his notable roles in Shameless and The Bear, where he played an impeccable chef. White told Kimmel that he was left embarrassed as he failed to carve a whole Turkey out of pressure at his friend’s house where he was invited for dinner. The After Everything star said:
“They’re like alright who knows how to carve a Turkey and everybody’s kind of like winking at me like I’m gonna do it and I feel like I have to kind of like appease everybody and make everybody happy so I go up there and I start carving.”
The actor explains how he started preparing pie for that day, and eventually finds out there’s a huge Turkey to be carved and everybody expected White to do it, he added:
“And I should know how to do this, I went to culinary school I learned how to break down a chicken, I know how to do this stuff but the pressure and the moment I’m in front of everybody, I am cutting and I just get too nervous I can’t do it and somebody actually had to come in…save the chef, it was really embarrassing.”
Despite the training, Jeremy Allen White got while filming as a chef on The Bear couldn’t help the Movie 43 star carve a Turkey and eventually ended up in a moment of humiliation.
Jeremy Allen White’s The Bear Season 3 Set To Begin Its Production
As Jeremy Allen White expressed excitement over his first Emmy Award nomination, he’s all set for the next season as Deadline reported that The Bear‘s season 3 will likely start its production in the next year’s late February or early March. Fans have incredibly lauded the Golden Globe award winner for portraying the young chef Carmy Berzatto, who despite being an extraordinarily talented food artist manages to save his deceased older brother’s sandwich shop.
Carmy leaves his high-profile job in New York City to help his struggling family in Chicago. Although the acclaimed actor hasn’t seen the script for this new season, he has some strong desires, one of which is to bring Jamie Le Curtis back as Donna Berzatto.
