Jesse Eisenberg is Oblivious to the Concept of Snyder Cut
After three years of the release of the biggest blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a significant detail has surfaced amongst the DCU fans. Recently Lex Luthor reveals that just like his fans he too is very oblivious to the concept of “Snyder Cut”. During a recent interview, Eisenberg is asked a question related to the Snyder Cut. At first, the actor thought it was a question related to the cutting of beef. Well, we cannot blame Jesse as many of the fans were equally unaware of this development.
The Snyder Cut
Snyder Cut is a different version of the Justice League that is longer and includes a younger version of Darkseid, namely Uxas. Uxas is a replacement for Steppenwolf, and there is a battle between Darkseid and Ares. The Snyder Cut also includes additional footage of the Green Lantern Yalan Gur. There are certain complications due to Henry Cavill’s mustache which magically disappears later with CGI during reshoots.
Zack Snyder had reportedly stepped down from directing duties on the superhero ensemble in the wake of a family tragedy. Due to this, the Justice League underwent significant reshoots in his absence. The cast and crew of Justice League support the Snyder Cut Justice League. It turns out Jason Momoa is one of the Snyder Cut’s biggest fans. Though fans are late to hear about the Snyder Cut, there will always be exceptions to this case. The exception is none other than Jesse Eisenberg.
Jesse Eisenberg’s Revelations
During his interview with Barstool Sports, Eisenberg says, “I have no idea, I don’t understand. “I genuinely don’t know. What are you referring to? Like a director’s cut?” The interviewer then gives Jesse a detailed explanation of how Zack Snyder leaves the film production due to family tragedy. He continues to explain how some fans think that a complete cut of the director’s original vision exists somewhere and that the cut is drastically different from that vision.
Jesse Eisenberg then reveals how he was present in some of the Justice League post-credit scenes. The Host then tells Eisenberg about Henry Cavill’s facial hair situation and erasing the mustache digitally. Jesse Eisenberg replies, “Oh, wow. How strange! Fascinating. It’s fascinating how stuff is done.”
