How much did Jim Parsons make from The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon?

When Jim Parsons started filming for The Big Bang Theory, his salary was $60,000 per episode according to The Things. During seasons two to four, his pay went up significantly and he earned $250,000 per episode. From seasons five to seven, Parsons’ pay went up again and he earned $350,000 per episode.

The real pay rise was yet to follow and when the show returned from season eight, Parsons made $1.2 million per episode up until the tenth season of the show. While one would assume that he made more money for the final two seasons of the show, that isn’t the case. For the eleventh and twelfth seasons of the show, he made $1 million per episode as he took a pay cut to allow for his female co-stars, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch, who joined the show later on, to make more when negotiating contracts for the final two seasons.
