Johnny Depp’s Lawyer Camille Vasquez Claims Amber Heard’s Hypocrisy Terrified The Jury, Claimed to be Abuse Victim While Depp’s The One Who Ended Up in The Hospital
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard had long been in the news due to their publicized defamation trial which started in April this year and ended in June with the former winning the case. Apart from them, one other person played a key role in the trial and gained celebrity status after the former won the lawsuit. That person was none other than Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez.
Even after the trial, she remained in the limelight as her presence in the trial was quite significant. The American attorney recently appeared on Court TV and shared insight on the publicized lawsuit.
Camille Vasquez Slams Amber Heard for Not Being a Credible Person
Camille Vasquez, who represented actor Johnny Depp in the defamation lawsuit made an appearance on the Court TV and shared her thoughts on his former wife, Amber Heard. She never considered the Aquaman star as someone “credible.”
“I never saw her as a credible person or as someone likable.”
She added that the actress during the trial had claimed to be the victim of domestic abuse however it was her client who was the victim. She in fact called her an “aggressor,” referring to a person who attacks first.
“She claimed to be a victim of abuse, but the only person who ended up in the hospital with injuries was Johnny Depp. It was an intense relationship, but she was the aggressor.”
She also opened up about Heard’s testimonials who don’t have any relationships with her anymore.

During the closing arguments of the bombshell defamation case, the lawyer during the case called the 36-year-old actress a person who “burns bridges, her close friends don’t show up for her.”
She was steadfast with her previous statement and believed that most of Heard’s witnesses which included her friends did not have a close relationship with her.
“I think these people, including her former lawyer, are no longer friends with her. Some of them showed a closed attitude about it, although this in no way means that they lied during their testimony.”
Even after claiming a lot about being the victim in the case, Heard lost the trial. She was ordered by the court to pay her ex-husband $10.35m in damages while the court rewarded her $2m for her counter-claims.
For the unversed, in 2018, the mother of one wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post claiming that she was a“public figure representing domestic abuse”. Even though Depp’s name was not in the piece, his life took a major toll. He then filed a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife demanding $50 million as damages for ruining his reputation.
