The Lonely Hearts star poured her heart out while talking about her friendship with Angelina Jolie. On being asked what she loves about her bond with the Lara Croft actor, she said-
“Everything. She’s been very very enriching in my life, in so many ways — as mothers, you know. Most of all, as artists. We grew closer and closer. And it’s just natural. It’s just something that flows.”
During an interview with media outlet Deadline in 2022, Salma Hayek spoke about her experience of working under the direction of Angelina Jolie in their upcoming movie Without Blood. The actor said-
“Jolie is the best director I’ve ever worked with… I absolutely loved working with her; enjoyed every second of it.”
Salma Hayek even said that Angelina Jolie is one of the best directors she has ever worked with. After legally separating from actor Brad Pitt, such words of encouragement from her actor friend Salma Hayek meant a lot to the actor.
