Jonathan Majors: Ant-Man And The Wasp’s Kang Is Different From Loki’s Kang
Jonathan Majors, who is going to star in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, revealed that this Kang is different from Loki’s Kang.
They Are Completely Different To Each Other
He Who Remains from Marvel and Disney+ Loki is different from the one that is going to appear as Kang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This is what Jonathan Majors echoed about his character and the experience so far in the project.
Majors echoed that he felt pretty free and loose on Loki’s set while promoting his upcoming movie, The Harder They Fall. The actor continued by mentioning how Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and He Who Remains from Loki season 1 are completely different.
Kang’s Connection With The Quantum Realm
Jonathan revealed how his psychology had shifted poles apart while portraying the same character but in two different projects of the MCU. He highlighted that the one that is going to appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is Kang the Conqueror and not He Who Remains. While He Who Remains was not necessarily a villain in Marvel and Disney+ series Loki season 1, Kang the Conqueror is the primary villain in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
With that being said, as of now, there isn’t much information available about how Majors’ role in Loki will move further. But as season 1 of the show ended, Kang is highly anticipated to be the biggest villain in season 2. All the current signs are pointing towards Kang and his variants, depicting that the character is going to be there for quite long in the MCU Phase 4. But how it will connect to the Quantum Realm is yet unknown.
Much like Kang’s mystery, the plot of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania remains a secret as of now. However, a new logo of the film reflects Quantum Realm as home to Kang’s own society. If that is going to be true, Kang the Conqueror will surely enter the story, changing the universe more significantly.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will hit the theaters on 28th July 2023.
