Jonathan Majors Has Video Evidence to Prove His Innocence After Allegedly Assaulting a Woman
Jonathan Majors was involved in some serious issues after he was charged with assault and harassment last week. The 33-year-old actor allegedly assaulted his girlfriend after the two got into an altercation and caused injuries to her neck and head. The Marvel star hired Priya Chaudhary as his attorney, who has claimed that the accused is innocent. Earlier, she claimed that Majors in innocent and probably the victim in the case. And now she has video footage to prove his innocence.
Jonathan Majors’ Attorney to Present Video Evidence
Jonathan Majors‘ attorney is planning to present new evidence in his case after he was arrested for assaulting a 30-year-old woman in New York City. His attorney, Priya Chaudhary, known for defending Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah, claimed that Majors was probably the one who was assaulted that day.
Chaudhary said, “All the evidence proves that Mr. Majors is innocent and did not assault her whatsoever.” She also has video evidence to back her claim, which was taken from the taxi where the incident happened. His attorney also has witness testimony from the driver and others present at the scene, along with two written statements from the woman “recanting these allegations.”
Chaudhary mentioned in her statement that all these pieces of evidence prove that Jonathan Majors is “entirely innocent” and did not assault the woman. The Devotion star’s legal team is planning to present these pieces of evidence to District Attorney with the hopes of getting the charges dropped.
Ant-Man Star’s Attorney Called the Incident an Emotional Crisis
The victim in the assault case is assumed to be Majors’ girlfriend, but her name is not revealed yet. The police stated that she suffered minor injuries on her neck and head and was taken to a local hospital after the incident. Earlier, it was revealed that the two got into an altercation after the victim spotted him texting another woman.
Priya Chaudhary has now claimed that the conflict originated from the woman. She described the incident as an “emotional crisis,” saying that Jonathan Majors is “probably the victim of the altercation with the woman he knows.” She claimed that the Creed 3 star was arrested only because the New York Police Department is usually required to make an arrest in such a situation.
