Jonathan Majors Reportedly Planning to Step Down as Kang To Escape Humiliation of Disney Firing Him
Marvel Studios has delved deep into a mystery, unlocking various phenomena of our universe. One such idea that has been teased at length by them is that of the ‘Multiverse’: an array of alternate universes; a universe that consists of unending possibilities. Anything is possible in the multiverse. In one universe, you might be having the time of your life in a club, and in another, you could be in custody for physical abuse. Unfortunately, Jonathan Majors is currently living in the latter universe.
Jonathan Majors is on the wrong side of the law
Jonathan Majors finds himself embroiled in a controversy. The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star has allegedly assaulted and abused a 30-year-old woman and was caught by the New York Police Department. According to Vulture, the NYPD conducted a preliminary investigation, following which they ascertained that a “33-year-old male was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female.”
Elaborating further about the event, the statement ran:
“Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition.”
Majors is now slated to appear in court, with the next hearing scheduled on 8th May.
No Projects in the Bag
That was far from the only backlash for Jonathan Majors. The Creed III star has seen himself being relieved from various projects. He was slated to star in The Man in My Basement, a film he was set to be a part of as an executive producer. But the cutbacks don’t end there.
Majors has also lost his role in Otis and Zelma, a biopic about Otis Redding. To add to his sorrows, this week, his manager, Entertainment 360, and publicist, The Lede Company, have severed ties with him. He’s also been dropped from the Texas Ranger’s ad campaign. The man is losing footing left, right, and center.

Jonathan Majors is looking for a less humiliating alternative
In this period of cutbacks, MCU not dropping the Devotion star must have come as succor to him. Marvel Studios is one of the rosters that have not yet cut ties with Jonathan Majors. But reports suggest that Majors plans to leave Marvel as well, forgoing his roles in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Loki season 2.
Majors has a good reason for the same. It is rumored that Disney was looking to take a different route – offering him a chance to step down himself; an alternative that will allow him to escape the humiliation of Disney firing him. That might mean that we’ve already seen the last of Majors’ Kang.
Maybe, in an alternate universe.
