Kanye West is in Trouble For Stealing Employee From Adidas, Sued For $275,000 For Lying Severance Package
Things are not looking too well for rapper Kanye West. The rapper, who also goes by Ye, has found himself in the spotlight for his controversial remarks and has successfully managed to destroy a career that took years of hard work. The rapper previously lost his contract with Adidas and the brand instantly got rid of the rapper’s collection, pulling it off the shelves.
Now, one of Yeezy’s former employees has filed a lawsuit against West claiming that she was promised a $275,000 severance package. She further revealed that she was asked to resign from her previous job at Adidas and the promised severance package was enough for the employee to quit Adidas. Now, she seeks the $275,000.
Former Yeezy employee filed a lawsuit against Kanye West
It was recently revealed that a former Yeezy employee has filed a lawsuit against rapper Kanye West for breach of contract. In the lawsuit, the woman, Dora Szilagyi, has claimed that she was promised: “a $275,000 severance package in case she would be fired without cause after September 2021.” She was fired in December 2021 but didn’t get any severance package. She was fired before the rapper made controversial remarks, so it was not like the brand was suffering financially.
The employee was asked to resign from Adidas
In the lawsuit, the woman claimed that she was working with Adidas but she was asked to resign from the job by the brand, showcasing the severance package as an incentive. She was then hired in June 2021 by Yeezy as “Director of Product Innovation.” Now, Dora Szilagyi is seeking that $275,000 she was never provided with. In 2013, Adidas announced an endorsement deal with Kanye West. Before that, the rapper worked with Nike but since they did not pay him royalties for his shoe designs, he turned to Adidas.

Over the past few months, Kanye West has made several statements that have led to his “cancelation.” He claimed that the Black Lives Matter movement was a “fraud“, and publicly attacked his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Not just this, the real trouble began when he made several anti-Semitic remarks.
However, now it seems like West is trying to retract his statements. In a recent Instagram post, the rapper claimed that actor Jonah Hill, who is Jewish, helped him get over his hate against Jewish people. He further explained that he can’t be labeled as antisemite as “Jesus is Jew” and he is a believer of Jesus.
