Kanye West’s Car Collection Has Tanks, Armored Monsters and a 1000 Horsepower Bugatti That’d Make Andrew Tate Sweat

The winner of 24 total Grammy Awards, artist Kanye West is one of the biggest music stars out there, with a net worth exceeding $500 million in 2023. Although the singer’s bank balance has seen better days with a $2 billion net worth before Adidas canceled his contract, West still finds himself in the six-figure club. 

Kanye West has an exquisite collection of cars that would put any automobile enthusiast to shame. He has a whole range of expensive vehicles from high-end brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Porsche, and more. However, West is experiencing tremendous financial difficulties and, therefore, is forced to sell many of his cars, including a few of his Lamborghini (Aventador and Urus), a Bugatti Veyron, and a Mercedes McLaren SLR. 1. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 FBG Par Hermès (2008)

Kanye West was often seen referring to himself as the “Hermès of verses.” Only four models were built from this eclectic collection between Bugatti and Hermès. FBG refers to the Rue Du Faubourg Saint-Honoré which Kanye West frequently visits during fashion week for shopping purposes.

The car has vents at the edge of the rims to mimic the signature seam pattern of Hermès. The gorgeous aluminum grilles on the radiator and intercoolers are marked with an “H” logo of the Parisian fashion house. The leather seats are designed and produced in the atelier of Hermès.

The 16.4 is special also because it was the first Bugatti Veyron in the series. It has an 8.0 quad-turbo W16 engine of 1000 horsepower, producing 987 bhp, which was a tremendous feat for a production road car. The top speed is 253 mph, and it costs £1.3 million according to British GQ, with each service costing around a staggering £50000.

2. Dartz Prombron Red Diamond Edition (2010)

This vehicle definitely stands out in Kanye West’s garage as an armored monster. It is bulletproof and the most oligarchy SUV ever made. It is a gargantuan Russian-built car that features gold-plated windows, tires that are non-puncturable, tungsten exhausts, and white-gold gauges covered in rubies. It costs around £1 million according to British GQ, and West has two of them in his collection. It has a V8 engine with a top speed of 160 km/h. 

3. Sherp (2019)

Probably Kanye West’s favorite show-off model since he owns not one but eight of these all-terrain bad boys. These cars are manufactured in Ukraine and are designed to power their way through even Siberia. It has massive self-inflating tires and a skid-steer system. It has a turbodiesel block producing 44 bhp, which makes it rather slow. The top speed of this model is 28 mph. It can go for 4mph on water as well. It is a car that would smash through the hardest environment and get the rider anywhere.

4. Aston Martin DBS V12 (2011)

Kanye is allegedly a James Bond fan, and he is not ashamed to hide it. In fact, he flaunts his admiration for the most devilishly charming secret agent through his car collection. This is the same car from Daniel Craig’s Bond movie, Casino Royale. The car boasts a 5.9 V12, which delivers 62mph in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 192mph. 5. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss (2009)

Only a handful of people have their hands on this limited-edition car. It is made as a tribute to the famous British racing driver who had a historical win at the Mille Miglia in a 300SL SLR in 1955. SLR is short for Sport Leicht Rennsport or Sport Light Racing and has a windscreen-less body, 651 bhp power, and a top speed of 217mph. Just 75 of these beauties were made, with each priced at £660,000, according to British GQ.

6. Maybach 57’ (2004)

Kanye West went creative for his and Jay Z’s 2011 banger hit Otis. The new car costs around £300,000, but the rapper decided to customize it to turn it into a luxury monster. The stunt driving on the car for the music video was done by the person who coordinated Fast & Furious 7. It sold at an auction the next year for a fraction of the price. 

7. Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 (2013)

Kanye West has a special fondness for Lamborghinis, like many celebrities. He owns none other than the stealth-black Aventador. It features 690 bhp from its 6.5-litre normally aspirated V12, which makes it one of the most glorious creations by the company. The top speed is 220mph, and it goes from 0-62 in just 2.9 seconds, which quite suits his personality in the wake of the recent controversies. Kanye West’s upcoming album, TY Dollar $ign, will be released on Friday, December 15, 2023. One can hope that West will recover somewhat from his financial loss through this album and will not need to sell his beloved cars.
