The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and Princess of Wales, Catherine (Kate Middleton) have always been in the limelight for their embroiled feud when the former entered into the British royal family. Their relationship though had some sweet moments in the beginning, but their bonding kept on getting affected especially when the former was dealing with some frustrating experiences.
According to recent reports, the Princess of Wales cared about the Sussexes and understood their situation when they were going through a rough patch.
Kate Middleton Sympathezied With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle had been in the highlights ever since the duo went official in their relationship in 2016.
Back in 2020, the Sussexes garnered major public attention when they announced that they will be stepping down as senior members of the British royal family.
Their decision led them to move to California two years ago to lead an independent life. The father of two had discussed that the racist treatment of his wife was one of the reasons behind their departure.
According to Daily Express’ royal correspondent Richard Palmer, both the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton deeply cared about their junior members and sympathized with the Sussexes.
As per the report, they understood the frustrations the duo was going through with the royal family.
“I think William and Kate and other members of the Royal Family had quite a lot of sympathy with Harry and Meghan with some of their frustrations when they were working members of the Royal Family,” Palmer shared.
“I don’t think that it was a case that they were completely uncaring about their concerns. Not at all – far from it,” the royal correspondent shared about the feelings of the new Prince and Princess of Wales.
Prince William and Kate Middleton Were Reportedly Unhappy With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Even though the next-in-throne couple sympathized with the Sussexes, they were not happy with the approach of the latter trying to deal with the situation.
The royal correspondent added,
“It was just they didn’t agree with their approach, which was essentially to quit Britain, break the deal between the British people and members of the Royal Family in terms of what information was shared about things like godchildren at a christening, and of course declare the war on the British media.”
Even after the reports of the fab four are not on good terms due to their past incidents, reports about Markle extending an invite to her sister-in-law to be a guest on her Spotify podcast are coming to the surface.
