The shocking revelations in Netflix’s docuseries Harry & Meghan have the royal family in disbelief, with Kate Middleton reportedly upset by Prince Harry’s ‘betrayal’. According to reports, Catherine, Princess of Wales, is angry with Prince Harry over Harry & Meghan, the Netflix documentary about the Sussex couple. She is extremely hurt and betrayed that Prince Harry would do this to her as well, because they used to be so close, a source said on Thursday. Also, in response to the six-part series, the source claimed that Prince William “isn’t planning to give his side of the story or openly retaliate.”
Prince Harry’s betrayal has left Kate Middleton in shock
Given how close the two were in the past, a source told Us Weekly that Middleton feels hurt and betrayed by Prince Harry for doing this to her. Prince Harry’s actions are also said to have “disappointed” Prince William, who at this time has no plans to “retaliate” or provide his perspective on the matter. According to an insider who spoke to the publication, he is still performing his duties honorably.
“He’s disappointed with Harry for portraying him and the family in a cynical light.”
“William was hoping they could move on after the CBS interview [with Oprah in March 2021], but Harry airing his dirty laundry has only exacerbated the conflict between the two brothers and caused them to take a step backward,” the statement reads.
Prince Harry openly expressed his disappointment in the unofficial joint statement that “squelched” his rumored beef with Prince William in the second volume of the docuseries. He claimed, “No one had asked me for permission to sign such a statement.” When Prince Harry called Markle to inform her of the false statement, she “burst into floods of tears,” according to what Prince Harry told the producers.
