Kate Moss’s 24-Year-Old Sister Lottie Moss is “Sick of People Blaming Nepotism For Why They Aren’t Rich and Famous”
Nepotism has been the topic of many conversations lately, especially after that New York Magazine cover story that depicted nepotism. Now, some celebrities are expressing their opinions about it all. On Wednesday, 21 December, Lottie Moss, the 24-year-old half-sister of Kate Moss, shared her thoughts about the nepotism baby debate on Twitter.
According to the British fashion model, she was “sick” of people “blaming nepotism” for their career failures and encouraged them to focus their efforts on themselves instead. She caused social media followers to take notice after supporting Lily Allen in the socially-connected “nepotism babies” debate. Lily Allen, the daughter of actor Keith Allen and filmmaker Alison Owen, spoke out to defend the ‘starving for stability and love’ children raised in privileged families due to ‘narcissistic‘ parents this week.
Lottie Moss Shares Her Views on Nepotism
In Hollywood, there’s no shortage of “nepo babies.” The term, however, refers to the children of celebrities who go on to achieve success in show business. It may sound like some children’s craze. The British model and the half-sister of Kate Moss, Lottie Moss, 24, responded to Lily Allen’s claims, supporting her in a series of tweets just a few days after she charged Kate Moss had not fully supported her.
She tweeted on December 21, complaining about those people who blame nepotism for reasons. She wrote,
“I’m so sick of people blaming nepotism for why they aren’t rich and famous or successful – obviously it’s not fair that people who come from famous families are getting a leg up because of that but guess what?”
The British model continued,
“Life isn’t fair – if you put your mind to something, you can accomplish.”

Lottie Moss retweeted again on her tweet, “Anything! So instead of being negative about other people’s success go and try and create your own !”

She again went to tweet and wrote along with a small video, “Oooh y’all mad cos I was born huh.”

However, Lottie Moss is facing major backlash for her thoughts on nepotism. Although the model defended nepotism babies, she previously admitted that her sister Kate Moss “never really supported” her professional modeling career.
Fan’s Reaction Over Lottie Moss’s Nepotism Statements
The tweets from Lottie Moss met with an inevitable backlash, with many citing her connection to Kate Moss as the foundation of her modeling career. A buzzing cover for the December 2022 issue of New York Magazine featured a story about nepotism babies, entitled “The Year of the Nepo Baby.” The British model’s comments come as a response to this story. Fans and some verified users responded to her tweet, and it appears that the British model is facing some significant backlash over her statements. Here are some fans’ comments:
I can see why you’d think that nepotism isn’t a massive advantage given that Kate Moss is your sister and yet you haven’t managed to do anything with that

“Did I ever say that nepotism isn’t a massive advantage? Obviously it is but if you don’t have that advantage it’s not okay to abuse people on social media that do”
