Live! With Kelly and Mark debuted on Monday, with Ryan Seacrest no longer serving as co-host to the talk show. This means Mark Consuelos started his official first day of hosting.

Although Kelly Ripa, who has been co-hosting for ABC for more than 20 years was completely at ease, viewers said they missed Ryan Seacrest. The married couple’s appearance, on one of their favorite morning shows, didn’t exactly excite Live viewers, who took to the internet to air their complaints.

Viewers have criticized the first episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, calling the couple’s banter “fake and boring”.

Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos Debut as Live Co-Hosts

Mixed reviews have been left after the first episode of the highly anticipated Live with Kelly and Mark show aired its first episode. This edition stars married couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

The couple was criticized by many viewers for their “fake banter” and boredom throughout the hour-long program. The 52-year-old actor replaced Ryan Seacrest, who quit co-hosting the morning program after nearly six years, so he could concentrate on his other projects.

The couple, who have been married for 27 years and fell in love on the set of All My Children, had a conversation with psychic, Char Margolis, and TLC singer, Rozonda Thomas during the episode.

Thus, Ripa, who displayed intense PDA with her husband during the show, was accused of repeatedly interrupting him. He started to say, “We used to run through the park, but now we’re,” but Ripa cut him off, “We used to chase each other.”
