According to reports, Kevin Costner alleges that his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner has piled up a huge credit card debt of about $95,000 to pay for costs associated with their continuing divorce procedures. The well-known star of the popular series Yellowstone has claimed that Baumgartner wrongfully spent a sizeable quantity of money on lawyers and a forensic accountant and didn’t notify him. Their prenuptial agreement was meant to protect their respective financial interests, but Costner claims that her activities violate those requirements.

Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner’s prenuptial agreement reportedly stated that after filing for divorce on May 1, she had 30 days to vacate his luxurious mansion. Although it appears that she has finally consented to leave the estate, she still has a few demands.

Baumgartner has said she is willing to leave the luxurious $145 million estate they once shared, where she has been residing. To ensure she won’t be left financially vulnerable, she has however established a requirement that Costner must offer further financial guarantees.

Baumgartner wants Costner to promise to pay any support payments imposed by the judge at the impending divorce hearing, according to court records. The 49-year-old handbag designer has stated that she will vacate the property by August 31, 2023, if Costner agrees to abide by the court’s support and fee orders on July 12. The mother of three even said that, without a solid financial base, she was hesitant to leave the mansion. She further claims that Costner wants her to find a rental house without having a solid financial plan, which she feels is not in the children’s best interests. Moving several times could compromise their stability and hurt their general well-being.
