The Tesla robot called Optimus is a new step forward in humanoid robotics that comes along with AI-based systems similar to those used in Tesla cars. Recently, Kim Kardashian posted some videos on her social media where she was having fun with the robot.

The video shows her asking to perform activities such as heart gestures, hula dancing, and playing Rock-Paper-Scissors with the robot that reportedly costs between $20,000 and $30,000 (as per The Independent).

Some netizens have come up with absurd conclusions that Kardashian’s interaction shows she voted for Donald Trump in this election. Some noted this because apparently, the robot was doing the famous Trump dance.

Another possible logic behind such speculation could be attributed to Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk‘s endorsement of Trump, which makes them assume that Kardashian’s video is political.

This speculation fails to consider the time when Kardashian talked about her bipartisan cooperation in her prison reform work. In an interview with The New York Times in 2020, she stated,

I do love that I see so many different potential candidates discussing [criminal justice issues]. I will work with any administration.

The New York Times reported that Kardashian actively used her stardom and influence to advocate for change in criminal justice by writing personal letters to President Trump and meeting with governors and legislators.

Kardashian also shares a close friendship with Ivanka Trump, which might also be another factor behind netizens’ speculations. As per Time magazine, she has endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016. However, the reality TV star has never publicly spoken about her association with any party’s campaign in the 2024 elections.

Amidst all the political speculation, Kim Kardashian’s career is shifting to something she has been interested in for a long time. The model-turned-actress has been vocal about her interest in studying law, and she is now going to feature in All’s Fair, which is a new legal drama from the award-winning producer Ryan Murphy.

According to Deadline, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star will portray a successful divorce lawyer from Los Angeles who runs an all-women law firm. The series has already included serious talent. Glenn Close has been cast as the head of the law firm and will also be an executive producer. 

Other actors include Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Teyana Taylor, and Matthew Noszka. However, this isn’t the first time Kardashian has worked with Murphy. She recently received praise for her performance as a cutthroat publicist in American Horror Story: Delicate.

The appreciation and experience have opened new doors for Kardashian, as she will also be seen in the upcoming Netflix comedy The Fifth Wheel.
