Kim Kardashian is making a lot of headlines these days for several reasons. Earlier this month, the rumor mill began that she is allegedly dating the NFL legend Tom Brady and she is looking to buy a new property where Tom Brady has a vacation home. After officially divorcing her former husband, Kanye West, last year, Kim K briefly dated Pete Davidson. However, the couple called it quits.
Despite her dramatic split from the American rapper, Kim Kardashian recently admitted in a candid interview that the time she spent while she was married to Kanye West was beautiful. The American Socialite is getting candid like never before. During her appearance on the latest episode of the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, she shared,
“Something I learned is that you cannot help people that don’t want the help. You can’t force your beliefs and project that on someone that thinks something totally different.”
The KUWTK star also discussed having differences of opinion with people in previous relationships without naming her ex-husband. She said,
“It’s okay to have those different views. It’s why the world goes round. But if you don’t align with the same values and morals and things at your core, then it’s okay to realize that this life is so short, and you should go and find the people that; do align with what you really believe in.”
The Skims founder continued,
“Those are some of the things that I would teach my kids when they’re looking for friends and partners and relationships. You can’t really force things upon other people. You can’t expect them to be where you’re at your level.”
Kim Kardashian stated that after being in a relationship for so long and being separated in the end, it’s not a failure. The reality tv star claimed,
“Sometimes I feel like people think that if a relationship doesn’t work out that it’s a failure, but I don’t really look at it like that 15 years together, ten years. That’s not a failure. That is so beautiful.”
A Brief Note on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Relationship
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were once the hottest and happiest couple in tinsel town; however, their beautiful relationship ended on a bitter note. The Kardashian star and West first met in the early 2000s when he was working on a song with one of her close friends, but they became friends in 2008 after reuniting during an event.
