Jay Cutler has recently made headlines due to his brush with the law. He was once married to the American reality TV star, Kristin Cavallari. Before her 10-year-long relationship with Cutler, Cavallari had dated a man from a famous celebrity family, and it was none other than Brody Jenner.
For those unfamiliar with this Jenner sibling, he was the son of former Olympian Caitlyn Marie Jenner, who was married to Kris Jenner from 1991 to 2013. So, Brody Jenner is one of the stepchildren of the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch. The trajectory of Cavallari’s life could have been something else entirely if she had been able to continue her relationship with the Bromance actor.
Kristin Cavallari Could Have Had a Different Life If Her Relationship with Brody Jenner Had Lasted Longer
The Kardashian-Jenner family is one of the most famous celebrity families in Hollywood. Their reality shows and businesses have been very successful. Their mere name is enough to turn heads in the industry and it has been this way for years. Although Brody Jenner is not as much in the limelight as his other siblings, he has his fair share of fanfare.
Kristin Cavallari dated quite a few celebrities before she settled down with NFL star Jay Cutler. Talan Torriero, Stephen Colletti, Chris Evans, Brody Jenner, and Nick Zano are some of the people that she has been linked with. Out of these, dating Jenner longer is one of the decisions that could have probably changed her life for the better.
However, their relationship timeline is not as straightforward as it looks. They were linked when they were filming the reality TV series, The Hills. However, she revealed on Bethenny Frankel’s talk show in 2012 (via E! News) that part of her relationship with him was fake. She said:
I dated Brody when I was 18, right after Laguna Beach, actually, and that’s it. And then on the show, on ‘The Hills,’ they had us ‘dating’ for a few episodes.
According to The List, they only actually dated from 2005 to 2006, but continued to be good friends. She even revealed that it was her work pressure that led to their breakup. Had they continued to date, Cavallari could have starred in Keeping Up with the Kardashians alongside Jenner who made a couple of appearances in the show. This could have also made her a close friend of the family and opened new doors for her.
Kristin Cavallari Admitted That She Faked Some Things for Her Reality TV Appearances
Kristin Cavallari has done several reality TV series throughout her career and the first of these was Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. She was in her junior year of school during the filming of the first season of the show. During her appearance on the Bethenny Frankel talk show, she said:
Laguna Beach, they really just manipulated situations and put us in situations that we normally wouldn’t have been in, or we’d have to film something that maybe happened a month ago or hasn’t happened yet—stuff like that.
After the show ended with its three seasons, the spin-off series, The Hills was made and Cavallari appeared in it. She told Frankel that she knew she would have to fake scenarios so she just told them upfront that she would do whatever they would need her to. This does not come as much of a surprise because it is a known fact that some reality TV shows are scripted despite their claims of the events being real.
