Things started taking off for Jenner when she admitted in an episode of the show that she had received lip augmentation. That same year, she launched to company, Kylie Lip Kits and by 2016, it was a full-blown cosmetic company called Kylie Cosmetics. Since then, the mother of two has only become more popular among netizens, thanks to her commanding social media presence.
Jenner has dated several high-profile people and has been linked to Timothée Chalamet for almost two years now. Both of them have shown up for each other at events, and the Golden Globes this year was no different. The Kardashians star skipped the red carpet but was seated beside Chalamet inside the venue.
She was wearing a backless silver chainmail dress which also had a dipping neckline. It is from the Atelier Versace spring 1999 collection (via PEOPLE). Moreover, it resembled the lilac dress Elizabeth Hurley wore to the CFDA Awards in 1999. Hurley had appeared at the event alongside her then-boyfriend Hugh Grant.
Jenner and Hurley also seem to have the same kind of hairstyle while wearing the dress as both of them opted to leave their hair open. However, Jenner had a little wardrobe malfunction as her dress seemed to have popped open at the seam on her left thigh. This, luckily did nothing to ruin the evening for the socialite and her partner.

The Kardashian-Jenners’ love for archival and vintage fashion pieces is no secret. After all, Kim Kardashian wore Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress to the Met Gala 2022 and also wore Princess Diana’s Attalah’s cross pendant to the LACMA gala in Los Angeles.
Similarly, Jenner seems to have taken a liking to Hurley’s ’90s wardrobe. At Golden Globes 2024 which she attended to support Chalamet, the Kylie Cosmetics founder was seen in a 1998 Hanae Mori design which upon closer look appears to be similar to the dress Hurley wore for Elizabeth Taylor’s 65th birthday party at the Pantages Theatre in LA (via IMDb).
Fans have not missed this parallel in Jenner and Hurley’s wardrobe as one of them pointed this out on X while others are still quite skeptical of her relationship with the Wonka star.

There is a chance that Jenner could be trying to give a message through her fashion choices because Hurley was with Grant when she wore those dresses and Jenner is with Chalamet. Hurley and Grant dated for 13 years and remained good friends even after breaking up. Even if this is just a coincidence, it is best to not assume anything about Jenner and Chalamet’s relationship.
