Leaked Deadpool 3 Set Photos Confirms the Death of a Major X-Men Villain
Deadpool 3 is one of the most delayed movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, whose filming has finally begun after the Hollywood strikes. This project features Ryan Reynolds in his iconic Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. However, the new leaked photos from the sets reveal another major X-Men character.
Even though the original X-Men character returns in Deadpool 3, it will face a deadly twist in the storyline. The leaked picture discloses Deadpool carrying Sabretooth’s sliced-off head after the formidable villain fought with Wolverine. This indicates that even if this major character returns, he will meet a drastic end.
Deadpool 3 Leaked Photos From Sets Reveals Major X-Men Character
The on-screen duo between Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool was enough to generate excitement in fans for Deadpool 3. However, the fresh and new leaked photos from the movie’s sets displayed another major character from the X-Men franchise who’s also Wolverine’s one of the best-known enemies.
According to pictures shared by Mirror, Wolverine is seen fighting with Sabretooth whose real name is Victor Creed is undeniably a notable supervillain in the original X-Men movies. His return generates speculation if Deadpool 3 has incorporated elements like time-traveling. However, Sabretooth and Wolverine fought in a snowy forest in the original X-Men movie which is unlike the leaked pictures.

Another photo reveals Deadpool carrying the head of the trench coat-clad Sabretooth after Wolverine cuts it off. This character was portrayed by Liev Schreiber in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the movie in which Deadpool debuted, and for Deadpool 3, no details have been officially shared about Sabretooth and which actor has secured this role. However, it would be intriguing to witness Wolverine’s villain meeting his end in a battle with Deadpool.

Shawn Levy’s Statement Over Making Deadpool 3 an R-Rated Movie
Deadpool without violence and extreme action isn’t Deadpool, and to make sure that the upcoming movie helmed by Shawn Levy exceeds fans’ expectations, the director told Deadline that Deadpool 3 will halt the MCU’s PG-13 trend and keep the preceding two Deadpool movies’ R rating. Levy said:
“I wasn’t going to mess with the DNA of that franchise, our movie is raw, audacious, very much R-rated and we went to great lengths to not shoot it on sound stages with digital environments.”
Deadpool 3 will be the first R-rated movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe which is committed to ensuring its success after fans eagerly anticipate witnessing the two iconic characters from X-Men slaying together. The director previously revealed that he took inspiration from a Star Wars scene (via Deadline) and recalled:
“For one key scene in the movie, I said to my stunt and action team, ‘Guys, this is the Jedi moment’. I pulled up that scene of Vader and Luke on my phone and restudied how it was photographed, how it was blocked, the framing, the tempo.”
Explaining how he incorporated the idea in Deadpool 3, Shawan Levy mentioned that fans will witness “the shot in my Deadpool movie” as he’s also developing a new Star Wars project.

Deadpool 3 is set to release in 2024.
