According to the report by TMZ, the reason that The Oprah Winfrey Show’s company, Harpo has sued the podcasters is that they claim that Oprahdemics is an attempt to create confusion by using the giant “O” alphabet in their logo. Harpo claims that these podcasters are trying to seek fame under the brand name.

The company later adds that Oprahdemics’s 15-plus-episode first season took them to host popular Instagram live chats, and Q&As amongst the public. Harpo could not digest the fact that these two podcasters went to appear on ‘Good Morning America’ and hence it violates the established trademark rights of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
