Lottie Moss got one more tattoo on her skin. It seems the sister of supermodel Kate Moss has got a unique tattoo addiction! The star of Only Fans, Lottie Moss, has revealed her new facial tattoo and promised to love it. Yes, but not on her body, it’s drawn on her face. Moss debuted a fresh face tattoo, and she can’t stop flaunting her ink in several TikTok videos. Her new tattoo, sitting directly on her left cheek, has recently attracted attention on social media in response to “nepotism” comments as well. In a recent interview with Glamour UK, Moss talked openly about the tattoo, which says ‘Lover’.
Lottie Moss, 24, opens up about growing up in the “toxic” fashion industry, her time in rehab, and how shooting nude content gives her a sense of empowerment as she makes headlines for getting involved in the “nepo baby” debate on Twitter and getting a face tattoo while on vacation in Bali.
Kate Moss’s sister Lottie Moss slammed critics for her facial tattoo
The model’s left cheek bears the word ‘Lover’ in the newest tattoo. The influencer, who has in the past struggled with anxiety and addiction issues, opened up about her decision to get a face tattoo in an essay she wrote for Glamour UK that was published on December 22. Her essay reads, “Since rehab, I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery. I’ve spent a lot of time in Bali, surrounded by nature, reading alone or spending time with like-minded people – and learning to love myself again while finally being free from my former life.”
Lottie Moss further added, “That’s why I decided to get my face tattoo; the word ‘lover’ under my eye. Yes, it was impulsive, but after years of being so controlled, it was my way of expressing that I am free. I’m no longer controlled.” She also discussed how she was scouted at age 13 and thrust into the modeling business, noting that it had a negative impact on her mental health, particularly because of her famous sister, Kate Moss. The model’s face tattoo also comes in the wake of the criticism she endured for voicing her opinion about New York magazine’s The Year of the Nepo Baby cover, in which she was left out.
Lottie Moss voices her brutal journey through rehab and addiction
Earlier in the month, Lottie Moss uploaded a TikTok where she shared her journey toward getting the tat, reflecting on it after and admitting that it “could’ve gone without doing.” After getting inked, she reflected on the experience and acknowledged that it “could’ve gone without doing. But I actually don’t mind it. Now that it’s here, it’s here to stay, she declared. “We’re going to learn to love it. The world’s going to learn to love it. My mom’s going to learn to love it, hopefully, yeah. Don’t drink alcohol, kids.”
Moss wrote that she was “so sick of people blaming nepotism for why they aren’t rich, famous, or successful,” adding that she understood that “it’s not fair that people who come from famous families are getting a leg up because of that.” But guess what,” she added. “Life isn’t fair — if you put your mind to something you can accomplish anything! So instead of being negative about other people’s success go and try and create your own!”
The young model made a name for herself by participating in photo shoots for Teen Vogue and Dazed magazines, after which she imitated her sister’s 1992 Calvin Klein underwear campaign by starring in a promotional launch for the fashion brand. She believes that even though there were times when the fashion industry was positive, the constant pressure to be thin, and fit into sample-size dresses, has really overshadowed those times.
