“Make ‘The View’ a longer show, retire ‘Live'”: Fans Brand Kelly Ripa Show A “STINK Bomb” Post Ryan Seacrest Exit, Want The View To Replace It
It came as a shock to viewers when Ryan Seacrest left Live with Kelly and Ryan. According to fans, the real-life couple, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’s talk show, Live with Kelly and Mark, has had a difficult start since Seacrest left.
Since Ripa’s former co-host left the show, viewers have been talking about the newest episode of Live with Kelly and Mark. And they are not pleased with the same where Seacrest was replaced by Mark Consuelos, a new co-host, and Ripa’s husband. The pair’s first show, which was pre-recorded and broadcast, debuted on April 14.
Kelly Ripa made an embarrassing revelation about her husband at the start of the program. The 52-year-old actress and host revealed that she had started recording her husband’s snoring after he began blaming one of their dogs instead of owning up to his bad habit.
Not just this, she then played the recording of Consuelos’ snoring aloud for the audience as well as her husband. While some people found this episode amusing, many others did not and expressed their displeasure on social media.
Let’s discover some.
Fans Called Kelly Ripa’s Show a ‘STINK Bomb’ Post Ryan Seacrest’s Exit
After Ryan Seacrest stepped down as host and Kelly Ripa‘s husband, Mark Consuelos, took over, viewers admitted they’d had enough of the “cringe-worthy” program.
If the morning show were to end permanently as the fans had hoped, they shared one more request for what they would like to see replace it on the schedule. One idea floated was to change the time slot for Live with Kelly and Mark to ABC’s The View, which would air for two hours instead of one.
Though it’s unlikely that suggestions for a schedule change are even necessary, given that the Live with Kelly and Mark era has only just begun and the long-running program is one of the most popular daytime shows.
However, a frustrated viewer observed this and said on Twitter,
"Kelly & Mark LIVE" gives off some kind of chemistry between the two hosts. Not an entertaining kind that motivates viewers to watch, but the adolescent high school kind that creates an unintended STINK bomb in the chemistry lab.
Make "The VIEW" a longer show & retire "LIVE".

How do you take a bad show and make it even worse. Congratulations, you found a way.

Painful to watch. Kelly can’t let him finish as sentence. Bring back Ryan. He made the show.

On April 17, Mark Consuelos formally took over as host of Live after Ryan Seacrest had his final episode a few days earlier. Critics have been calling for the talk show’s cancellation ever since its new incarnation debuted, especially after the program aired several previously filmed episodes in just its first week.

How Was The First Week Of The Show?
The couple received a lot of negative feedback from fans during Mark Consuelos’ first week of hosting alongside Kelly Ripa, whom he had married in 1996.
Some viewers criticized the couple’s “fake banter,” calling it “cringey,” “phony,” and “inauthentic”. Meanwhile, other viewers begged them to stop discussing their marriage in public and engaging in PDA. Others have criticized the duo for talking about “mundane things” rather than “real social and news issues.” And, some have even called for the cancellation of the series, calling it a “big fail” and “painful” to watch.
Since it was revealed in February that Consuelos would take Seacrest’s place, the couple has been in the news often. Meanwhile, Ripa has co-hosted Live since 2001.
According to Michael Gelman, the show’s longtime producer, Consuelos joining the show with his wife made sense. But Ripa reportedly admitted that at first, she didn’t think Consuelos would make a good permanent co-host.
