Faithfull had many relationships throughout her life. The most publicized of these was her romance with Rolling Stones band member Mick Jagger. During that relationship, she went through a lot. It was much later in her life that she would find a “soulmate” who stood by her side throughout one of the most difficult times of her life.

Marianne Faithfull emerged onto the entertainment scene in the 1960s. According to Daily Mail, he became acquainted with Rolling Stones when she accompanied John Dunbar to the launch party of one of their albums. Her first big break was the single As Tears Go By which Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and record producer Andrew Loog Oldham wrote and composed.

Faithfull got married to Dunbar in 1965. The couple welcomed their son, Nicholas that very year. The next year, they separated, and she started a relationship with Jagger. The relationship lasted 4 years, but those years were enough to leave a lasting impact on the songstress’ personal and professional life. The 1967 drug bust made her popular in all the wrong ways because she was found by the cops dressed in nothing but a rug.

They moved in together in 1968 and were expecting a baby, but Faithfull unfortunately suffered a miscarriage. After she almost lost her life to a barbiturate overdose, the couple split amicably. She married two more times, to the Vibrators’ Ben Brierley in 1979, which lasted six years; and to writer Giorgio Della Terza in 1988, which lasted three.

She had the longest relationship with French record producer Francois Ravard, who was also her manager. The couple dated for 15 years after they first met in 1994. Ravard, whom she once called her “soulmate”, was there by her side throughout her breast cancer diagnosis in 2006. The couple split in 2009, but Ravard continued to be her manager. She mostly tried to keep that relationship as private as she could.
