Marilyn Manson’s Disturbing Confession About Fatally Hurting Ex-Girlfriend Proves Armie Hammer Isn’t Only Celeb With Terrifying Fantasies
- Marilyn Manson once confessed how he wanted to hurt his ex-fiancée after their break-up.
- The s*xual assault allegations and abuse allegations against Manson have been dropped.
- Armie Hammer claims the timing of his cannibalism scandal blew it out of proportion.
Marilyn Manson’s reputation in the industry is not the best considering the number of women who made some rather serious allegations against him. He built a name for himself in the industry as one of the most well-known musicians, but it was only a matter of time before that image started crumbling and numerous women came forward with their disturbing experiences with the singer.
The hits his reputation took did not come just from these allegations, but also from a fantasy that he admitted to having about his ex-girlfriend. This proves that Armie Hammer, who has also been accused of some very heinous actions, is not the only one whose fantasies were far too wild for people to casually brush them off and even cost him his career.
Marilyn Manson once admitted that he wanted to hurt his ex-fiancée after their breakup
Marilyn Manson has been in the music industry for almost four decades now and is widely known for his bizarre costumes and his influence on heavy metal. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous controversies and has also been accused of s*xual assault and battery by over a dozen women.
One of the many women who accused him of abuse was his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood, who detailed her experience in an interview with Vanity Fair. The duo’s relationship became public in 2007 and got engaged in 2010, only to separate later that year. They had an on-and-off relationship and seemed to have had a bad breakup in 2008.
During an interview with Spin magazine in which he was promoting his album The High End of Low, he recalled that he was very depressed and felt “betrayed” by Wood.
And every time I called her that day — I called 158 times — I took a razorblade and I cut myself on my face or on my hands.
He further revealed that he had fantasized about hurting her and one of the songs on his album was about it.
The song “I Want to Kill You Like They Do in The Movies” is about my fantasies. I have fantasies every day about smashing her skull in with a sledgehammer.
All of this definitely sounds disturbing and makes Wood’s abuse allegations sound quite believable. That said, a year-long investigation into Manson over s*xual assault and domestic violence allegations has been dropped because the allegations exceeded the statute of limitations, according to BBC.
Armie Hammer blames the timing of his cannibalism scandal for his career downfall
Armie Hammer was on his way to having the perfect Hollywood career when a whirlwind of alarming allegations in 2021 destroyed his public image to the point that he was kicked out of several film projects. In late May 2023, the LA County District Attorney declared that the actor wouldn’t be charged for s*xual assault after an investigation (via The New York Times).
Since then, he has publicly addressed all those allegations. Earlier this month, he appeared on the podcast Your Mom’s House where he reflected on them and how the COVID-19 quarantine time.
The world seemed like it was falling apart, and people were just deeply unhappy with their own lives. And then this salacious story comes around where this actor wants to murder and eat people. And all of a sudden, everyone’s like, ‘Oh, this is so much more fun to focus on than the fact that I can’t leave my living room.’
He said that a lot of what he had said had been taken out of context. He claimed that it was more of a “possession kinda thing, like, that’s just fun to talk about”, and less of a cannibalistic tendency, like those allegations claimed.
That said, he has been considering his actions and believes that some of the things he said or did were not from the “healthiest” place. So, he is working on himself while also making a return to acting with the movie Frontier Crucible and starting his own podcast in an attempt to rebuild his career.
