Mark Wahlberg isn’t the only acclaimed actor in Hollywood to have left college to pursue a career in Hollywood. Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio and our famous Captain Jack Sparrow Jhonny Depp also did not get a chance to pursue a college degree other than acting. But Wahlberg is undeniably the one who recently lamented over not going to college for his now $400 million empire in Hollywood.

The actor has changed his residence from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with his family and revealed that they are striving hard to get used to the environment around them. The Planet of the Apes star and his wife Rhea Durham share four children, out of which their eldest child Ella Rae has started college. In an interview with Today via Foxnews Wahlberg said:

“We just went to parents’ weekend, you know with the sorority girls and the frat house. It was like, ‘Oh my God.’ I definitely felt like I never really had too many regrets about not going to college until I saw (this).”

The actor revealed that he recently visited his daughter’s college for parents’ weekend and shared that he had a feeling of regret while taking a look at Ella Rae’s college. Wahlberg did not get a chance to attend college and missed out on college life due to his sole focus on getting better opportunities in the film industry. However, the actor feels good that his daughter is doing the best in college which gives him a kind of relief.

The actor revealed that his family was doing their best to get into the environment of the new residence, and finally, when they did, Wahlberg’s family had been doing great at their new home.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, the actor revealed that the major reason for relocating was to provide his children with the best opportunities to pursue their dream careers as all of his four children had distinct objectives. The Infinite star also mentioned that:

“We’re always looking for new opportunities and new adventures. I hope to create of a lot of opportunity here. And I moved to California originally to make movies. I’ve made three movies in the last 15 years in LA. So, as you know, it’s been difficult.”

Mark Wahlberg revealed that he wanted more business opportunities in Las Vegas. The Uncharted actor shared that he faced difficulties in Los Angeles to find work opportunities and after he relocated to Nevada, he wanted more projects to pour in.
