Elon Musk Calls Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg A Cheater
The face-off challenge between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk was not enough to divert the media attention as the business tycoons are having a verbal spat over the newly launched Threads application and making headlines. As per the Techcrunch website, Threads users have reached 100 active users million, whereas Elon Musk-led Twitter has only 250 million active users.
According to Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg’s newly launched app Threads, is based on the idea conceived by Twitter. According to the SpaceX head competition is totally fine, but cheating is not. The matter took a legal trajectory after Elon Musk’s lawyer Alex Spiro wrote to Mark Zuckerberg accusing him of unlawful extraction of Twitter’s trade secrets and other intellectual properties.
The written statement, even mentioned-
“Twitter intends to strictly enforce its intellectual property rights, and demands that Meta take immediate steps to stop using any Twitter trade secrets or other highly confidential information”.
According to the statement sent by Alex Spiro, Mark Zuckerberg had intentionally hired a group of ex-Twitter employees who had worked on the conceptualization of Threads. Some of the ex-employees still have access to the confidential trade secrets of Twitter which can prove as an advantage for the Facebook head.
