Marvel characters have left no realm of entertainment untouched as besides movies and shows, they also have had games for a while now. Sony’s Spider-Man 2 is the recent addition to the gaming catalog of the company. This new game is a sequel to 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man and also a follow-up to Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales.

Both Peter Parker and Miles Morales appear in the game, and apart from their combat style, their costumes have also fans talking. With more than 70 suits, there are bound to be some that people adore and others that they cannot stand. One such suit of Miles Morales has been found.

Fans are Not Impressed By the Newest Miles Morales Suit in Spider-Man 2

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been the talk of the town ever since it was released on October 20, 2023. It became the PlayStation’s fastest-selling first-party title and one of the best-selling PlayStation 5 games as it sold over 2.5 million units in 24 hours, thanks to the plethora of new features it comes with.

Some of these new features include a quick switch between Miles Morales and Peter Parker, amazing narrative, traversal mechanics, and a drove of suits for both Spider-Men. There are more than 70 suits that players can unlock/purchase and considering the color variants of these suits, the number is probably over 200.

Throughout the game, both Spider-Men change suits several times as the story progresses. However, there is one particular Miles Morales suit that fans do not like. The Miles Morales original suit is known as the Evolved suit and fans have unabashedly dubbed it as the “Worst Spider-Man Suit” of Spider-Man 2.

The reason? Well, for starters, the suit features a hood which is not much of an issue, but the issue is the fact that the mask which is supposed to cover the entire head is cut off from the top, consequently, Morales’ hair is visible. The white Adidas sneakers that the superhero sports also do not help his case. Game developer Insomniac Games has not commented on the suit yet.

Will There Be a Spider-Man 3?

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 came after years of waiting. It follows the two Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, as they tackle the new threat Kraven the Hunter while also grappling with the Symbiote, which eventually turns into Venom. Other villains include Mysterio, Sandman, and the Lizard.

After the huge success of Spider-Man 2, fans are now wondering if there will be a Spider-Man 3. In an interview with Skill Up, creative director Bryan Intihar teased the sequel, saying:

“I think… if ‘Spider-Man 1’ [and ‘Spider-Man: Miles Morales’] was like… our ‘Iron Man’ and ‘Spider-Man 2’ was like a [‘Captain America:] Civil War’, where do we go? Where logically do we go from there? I think it’d be pretty epic. But you know, we’ll see.”

Earlier, the Spider-Man 2 game director Ben Arffman also said that they would love to tell more stories. Speaking with io9, he said:

“I mean, I would love to be able to talk about that. We love this game. Are so excited about this game. I’m really hoping that fans love it in the same way that we do. And we’re going to be so lucky to get to tell more stories.”

Advanced senior writer Lauren Mee and Insomniac director of community and marketing James Stevenson had also mentioned Spider-Man 3 earlier. Hopefully, fans will not have to wait too long for the sequel.
