Marvel Producer Addresses One Fan Complaint Against Brie Larson’s The Marvels and the Recent MCU Movies
The ongoing and much anticipated The Marvels is finally in theatres and before fans watch the three incredible superheroes team up to prevail against the bitter intergalactic threat named Dar-Benn, they have a big question.
And it has been answered by Marvel producer Mary Livanos. There have been doubts about how many movies or shows fans are required to watch before they witness Captain Marvel. Kamala Khan and Monica Rmabeau combine their supernatural abilities to fight back against the mischief executed by Dr-Benn.
Marvel Producer Addresses Fans’ Big Question
The Marvels stars Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris in their iconic roles: Captain Marvel. Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau possess distinct and unique light-based superpowers that will be utilized to bring down Dar-Benn played by Zawe Ashton. These heroes have complex and different stories that will eventually lead them to team up and work together. However, before witnessing this enormous fight, fans have a worthy question.

“I think what’s great about this movie is if you are a huge fan of the comics, if you’re a huge fan of the MCU, if you’ve seen the incredible ‘Ms. Marvel’ show, if you’ve seen ‘WandaVision,’ if you saw the first ‘Captain Marvel’ movie, there is so much to follow, so many threads to pick up with this film that really pay off.”
Livanos explained that Brie Larson’s movie continues the stories of several movies and TV shows that fans might have watched and is worth revisiting the characters and plot threads. So, if you’re already an enthusiast who has witnessed projects like WandaVision, Captain Marvel, and other related stories, you’ll indisputably catch the storyline fast and enjoy it.
What About The Newcomers in The MCU Fandom?
To those who just joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as new fans, don’t worry. Marvel producer Mary Livanos even expressed these concerns about how the newcomers will process the story of The Marvels which features Captain Marvel who’s one of the strongest light-based heroes in the universe, Monica Rambeau who has recently stepped in as an incredible fighter and gained her powers after the Blip and Kamala Khan, a teenage superhero who’s yet to discover more and team up with a major member. The producer said:
“But at the end of the day, if you’re less familiar with the storytelling thus far, this is about three people really meeting for the first time and coming together. Just like any movie, you meet new characters and get to know them and get caught up to speed, and this movie does it with extreme dynamism, so I’m excited for people to enjoy it whether they’re huge fans or new fans.”
Livanos mentioned his excitement for both the hardcore Marvel and comic book fans and the newcomers into the world of superheroes which never fails to thrill us with much more intimidating villains every time they introduce a superhero from the comic books. So, The Marvels is a movie for all to enjoy the teaming up of the incredible three superheroes.
