As the final season of the popular Prime Video series, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan prepares to premiere, John Krasinski, star and executive producer of The Office, is prepared to say goodbye to the show and his character.

The audience saw Jack Ryan, played by Krasinski, advance from CIA analyst to deputy director, and the trailer for the final season showed Ryan hiring Domingo Chavez to assist him in exposing a plot within the CIA and preventing the alliance of a drug cartel with a terrorist organization. The actor talked about his favorite aspects of playing Jack Ryan before the show’s final Prime Video debut.

John Krasinski describes working on Jack Ryan as ‘surreal’

Actor John Krasinski, who appeared in Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as Reed Richards, is also known for his successful and popular character Jack Ryan from Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan which streams on Prime Video. Ahead of the show’s fourth and final season, the actor spoke to Entertainment Tonight where he discussed his favorite part of the show.

Krasinski said, “The whole experience, to be really honest with you, has been surreal. Because, as a kid, Jack Ryan was my favorite character in the books and the movies, and the fact that I got to play him for five minutes, let alone five years, is amazing.”

The actor continued to share,

“It really is true when everybody says it takes a huge group of people to make anything, but to make something good it takes a huge group of talented people. So we had the most amazing crew, writers, producers, and then this cast! We really did create a family on this show. These guys are completely involved in my life. Not just as coworkers, but as real family members, and that is the saddest part about leaving, for sure.”

What can the audience expect from season four of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan?

John Krasinski will assume a new position as Acting Deputy Director of the department in the fourth and final season of Jack Ryan, where he will likely face his most dangerous mission to date.

In the final season, Jack Ryan will question the system after learning that a drug cartel and a terrorist group were conspiring together, according to the official summary of the show. A spinoff starring Ding Chavez, Amazon Studios, will produce a former CIA agent played by Pea, has been confirmed.

In an interview with Reuters, Krasinski was asked about his thoughts on saying goodbye to the character, to which he said that he was probably put off by the reality of it being over till the very last moment. He explained that he realized that the show was done when they called ‘Wrap’ on his character, which was overwhelming not only because it was over, but also because he got the visual of a large number of people coming out to say goodbye.

John Krasinski talks about working with Ryan Reynolds in IF

During an interview with Collider, the actor revealed that IF is a movie that he is making for his kids because they were not allowed to watch A Quiet Place, adding that he needed to make a movie that they could see and he is excited for them to see IF (Imaginary friends)

The actor stars alongside Ryan Reynolds in the movie and about working with him he said, “I mean, Ryan Reynolds is as good as it gets in every single way, shape, and form, and this incredible phenom of an actress, Cailey Fleming, is in the movie. For me, it was just about what if we could tell a story about these time capsules?”

Krasinski continued, “Imaginary friends are adorable and all those things, but they’re also time capsules of your hopes, dreams, and ambitions when you were the most fertile of a brain, and it never goes away. I think we’re told that we’re adults instead of if you realize that you never stopped being a kid.”

Jack Ryan’s Season Four will debut on Amazon Prime Video on 30th June.
