Matt Damon Revealed Real Reason Oppenheimer Fans Think Cillian Murphy is a ‘Difficult’ Co-Star
Matt Damon the Oscan Winning star is yet again in the news as he states reasons as to why working with Cillian Murphy is difficult for most of the co-stars including him. Ever since the release of Christopher Nolan‘s epic Oppenheimer, the A-list cast of the movie which includes Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, and others have been the talk of the town for both their killer performance and behind the scenes stories.
Even though the lead actor Cillian Murphy has given a performance of his lifetime in the recently released Oppenheimer, his co-star still believes to be upset with his beauty and all the distraction that it has caused them.
Talking about this Matt Damon has revealed that Murphy’s blue ocean eyes have created a distraction for the entire cast of Oppenheimer. Damon considers that Murphy’s Ocean blue eyes are indeed a real problem while they are in a scene.
While talking to People, Matt Damon said “It’s a real problem when you’re doing scene work with Cillian.” He further added, “Sometimes you find yourself just swimming in his eyes.“
Not only Matt Damon, Emily Blunt who plays the role of Oppenheimer’s troubled wife Kitty, also agrees with what Damon has to say. She even said that Murphy’s eyes reminded her of Billie Eilish’s Ocen Eyes song. “It’s like that ‘Ocean Eyes’ song by Billie Eilish. We just hum it all day,” said Blunt.
Oppenheimer makes history at the box office
Just the like the story itself, Oppenheimer as a movie has been making history at the box office. This recently released movie by Christopher Nolan is a biographical thriller that revolves around one of the historic events, where the well-known American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer developed the Atomic Bomb during World War 2 which was later used to attack Japan.
The movie was released into the cinemas on 21st July 2023 and since then the movie has been loved by everyone. Exceptional acting by the cast, parallel to the director’s creativity has been loved by the fans. With the end of its third weekend, Oppenheimer has made a box office collection that has crossed the $500 million mark. The film made an earning of $229 million in the American market along with $324 million in the international market.
