The Golden Globe Awards 2024 marked some of the most notable moments in its history, one of which is Pedro Pascal getting tricked after planning to pull a prank on Matt Damon during the event’s commercial break. When The Last of Us star called the Oppenheimer actor and talked with him, Pascal later found out that it was Damon’s voicemail he was talking with.

Actors are often indulged in pulling hilarious pranks on their friends. Recently during the Golden Globe Awards event, Pedro Pascal craved some humorous antics, for which he decided to prank Matt Damon who was also a part of the event. According to Variety, the Drive-Away Dolls star’s table was labeled Air and when Pascal called him, the Star Wars actor found out that he had been talking to Matt Damon’s voicemail instead of the actor himself.

Despite the failed plan, Pedro Pascal discovered the situation hilarious and was successful in creating a lighthearted moment during the award show. The actor’s Last Year’s The Last of Us became a massive hit on HBO and has earned a total of eight Emmys this award season.
Matt Damon and Pedro Pascal To Star in Upcoming Drive-Away Dolls
Ethan Coen’s upcoming film Drive-Away Dolls will feature some of the highly talented actors from the industry, with Matt Damon and Pedro Pascal as co-stars. The two must have incredibly bonded while filming their project and this could be the reason why Pascal was quite eager to prank his co-star. Drive-Away Dolls is a crime comedy focusing on Margaret Qualley‘s outgoing and adventurous Jamie and Geraldine Viswanathan’s Marian, set on an exciting road trip until they find out what’s in their car’s trunk.
The two best friends will head towards a road trip after Jamie suffers an ugly breakup while her friend Maran is an underconfident girl who wants to express her feelings toward women. As they rent a car for their trip, they discover a suspicious briefcase in the trunk, and this is when the real adventure starts.

Matt Damon will play Senator Channel, while Pedro Pascal has secured the role of Santos. The upcoming film will also star Colman Domingo and other talented actors.
Drive-Away Dolls will come out on February 23, 2024.
