Meghan Markle Blasts British Media For Calling Her Children ‘the N-Word’, Promises She Will Never Cooperate With Them Because They Insulted Her
Meghan Markle found a perfect husband in Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, but couldn’t really find a family worth calling ‘home’ in the British royalty. Markle has shared the ordeals she had to go through while trying to make a place for herself among her in-laws, and in her own words, she was never really accepted there, be it due to her bi-racial identity or her former career as an actor, Markle was horrendously discriminated against. The Suits actor recently came out with another horrible revelation, that her son was called the N-word by the British media.
Meghan Markle couldn’t stand her son’s disrespect
In a recent interview with The Cut published on Monday, Meghan Markle shared a former ordeal. Back when she was a part of the royal family, she was asked to share pictures of her son, Archie, who is now a 3-year-old boy to a press pool that shouldered the responsibility of covering Queen Elizabeth II and her successors, the Royal Rota.
“There’s literally a structure… Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child? You tell me how that makes sense and then I’ll play that game.”
The social media shenanigans
About the royalty’s social media presence, Markle revealed that her husband, Prince Harry, and she did not exercise control over the Instagram handle @KensingtonRoyal, which they had formerly shared with Harry’s elder brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton.
She further added that when the couple made a separate social media account @sussexroyal, they made the decision to not indulge in the “exchange game.” The couple instead decided to do something unprecedented and posted pictures on the account first instead of sending them to the Royal Rota.
Back in February 2021, however, Markle and the Prince shut the second account as well for good when they officially withdrew from their royal roles.
A prolonged endurance against the royal family’s bullying
“I was really ashamed to have to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry especially, but I knew that if I didn’t say that I would do it. I just didn’t want to be alive anymore.”
Markle also made the shocking revelation that the royal family held “concerns and conversations” about her son’s skin color ahead of his birth.
