Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Reportedly Looking to Buy $22M California Home After Queen Elizabeth II’s Death
The royal couple, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have always made headlines as a couple ever since they decided to step back from their duties as the senior members of the British royal family. According to reports, the duo is reportedly looking for a new estate after the death of the previous monarch of the UK, Queen Elizabeth II.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex might relocate themselves to a safe neighborhood. As per the reports by Santa Barbara News-Press, the couple wants to move to the Hope Ranch community as “theirs no longer “properly accommodate[s]” the four of them.
Hope Ranch is a small community about 10 miles away from Montecito where the duo moved in June 2020, just after four months of the infamous Megxit deal in which the pair left the royal family.
The pair’s alleged new estate boasts a members-only country club, golf club, tennis courts, picnic grounds, and a network of equestrian trails. Not just that, it has about 10 percent of the population owning their horses, as per Daily Mail.
With a population of about 2,200 as per the US Census, luxury homes in this location can reach as high as $22 million. As per the outlet, it is yet to be specified whether the couple is looking to buy a large home than their current mansion, or a smaller property.

Though the reason for their alleged relocation has not been revealed, it comes after police installed license plate scanning cameras near their estate amid rising crimes in the neighborhood.
As per the Sun, the locality was targeted by “sophisticated out-of-the-area theft gangs” who specialized in high-value property crime. The Montecito Association sent emails to all the residents including the Duke and Duchess, stating that the cameras were being installed “in response to the high-value property crime we’ve experienced recently.”
It was also reported that the royal couple witnessed their share of horror back in May when two intruders came to their house during a 12-day span when the family was believed to be home.
Apart from the duo, the community is home to stars including Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and their daughter. Ellen DeGeneres, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, and his family, Rob Lowe, Scooter Braun, and Friends star, Jennifer Aniston also live in this neighborhood.
