Making a movie on the basketball rookie and his partnership with Nike which revolutionized the sports world, has been a big challenge for Affleck. However, the Oscar-winning actor made sure to have a discussion with Michael Jordan prior to shooting and address his demands. Further, making a movie according to Jordan, the 50-year-old still awaits the player’s critical appreciation.
Michael Jordan, as well as his representatives, have abstained from making any comments on the movie. Awaiting the seal of approval from Jordan with the biographical sports film, Affleck has been showered with praise and glowing reviews from critics and audiences. Affleck mentioned to Reuters, “I certainly wouldn’t be comfortable with promoting the movie any further by assigning Michael’s vote of approval to it.” The movie is to premiere in theatres and later stream on Amazon Prime.
