The second oldest son of the legendary basketball player Michael Jordan, and the ex-wife of the former NBA star Scottie Pippen, have been in conversation about their controversial relationship. The rumors started after Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen were spotted together on several occasions. And considering the age gap and the ties to each other’s families, the appropriateness of their relationship has been questioned.
Jordan and Scottie Pippen were teammates and played together for Chicago Bulls during the 1980s and 1990s. However, their relationship seemingly turned sour after Pippen’s allegations in the 2020 docuseries, The Last Dance. Amid all this, Marcus Jordan has recently again started a discussion among fans as he gifted a pair of Air Jordan 4s to his girlfriend.

Air Jordans, popularly known as Jordans, includes a line of Nike sneakers in collaboration with the basketball star Michael Jordan. Launched in 1984, it has become a cultural phenomenon and has carried out the craze of the sports star and the sneaker line to new generations as well.
As the founder of The Trophy Room and the brand named after his father, Marcus Jordan has direct access to some of the exclusive rare designs of Air Jordans. And seems like he took this opportunity to impress his girlfriend Larsa Pippen by gifting her a pair of Air Jordan 4s.
Marcus Jordan recently shared a snap of Air Jordan 4s with a caption saying, “Gotta keep my baby laced up.” The founder of The Trophy Room gifting an exclusive pair from the Air Jordan collection has only added fuel to the whole controversy surrounding their relationship.
Rumors surrounding their relationship started after they were spotted on a supposed date last year. Their relationship was soon confirmed, considering they openly expressed their love for each other on social media. Larsa Pippen has four children with Michael Jordan’s former teammate, Scottie Pippen, and they separated in 2021.
Larsa Pippen Calls Out Tamron Hall
Larsa Pippen joined Tamron Hall on her talk show Tamron Hall Show earlier in February. The host of the talk show constantly asked the socialite about her relationship with the 32-year-old Marcus Jordan, seemingly making her uncomfortable. Following the context behind her relationship with Jordan, Hall even implied that the couple’s relationship was inappropriate.
After the interview, Pippen acknowledged that she felt uncomfortable in a post shared on the Instagram page, The Shade Room. She called the talk show host “negative and judgmental” and claimed that her facial expressions indicated that Hall never wanted to have a simple conversation on the show. Tamron Hall said in her defense that she was just doing her job by asking what the viewers wanted to know.
