Mike Tyson Was Thirsty to Get Revenge on Scary Movie Star Marlon Wayans For the Same Reason That Made Will Smith an International Joke- Here’s What Happened Next

Scary Movie actor Marlon Wayans reveals what went down at the Crawford vs. Spence fight with Mike Tyson
Comedian Marlon Wayans appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new stand-up special titled Good Grief. Upon his appearance, Fallon asked him about a picture that he posted after he went to the Crawford vs. Spence fight which he was invited, to which he explained,
I am proud to say I was sitting in front of André 3000, and then Evander Holyfield was right in front of me, and he wasn’t looking at the fight. He just kept looking over this way. And I wasn’t looking at the fight either, because I couldn’t stop looking at Evander Holyfield’s ear.
Wayans described the ear as a doggy treat and later added that it looked like Archer’s beef jerky and noted that all he kept thinking was, ‘Mike really bit the hell out of his ear’. The comedian further shared that he looked in the direction Holyfield was looking, and it was Mike Tyson. Marlon added,
So I took a picture of Evander’s ear and him looking at Mike Tyson in the back. And I posted it. And then Mike Tyson saw the picture, and then there was a picture with Mike Tyson looking back at me, looking at Holyfield’s ear.
The actor-comedian noted that Tyson wanted to kill his family because Keenen Ivory Wayans used to do the impressions of him on ‘Living Color’ and Damon Wayas had a bit about him in his stand-up. Wayans concluded that it was his mother who saved his life, and told Tyson that mockery is the best form of flattery. He revealed that Mike Tyson had told him that it was his mother who saved his life.
This incident reminded the audience about Will Smith’s not being able to take a joke from Chris Rock, and later his actions fired back at him.
Marlon Wayans talks about his evolving as a parent
The new stand-up special Good Grief is going to include Marlon Wayans’ personal experiences, including learning that his son is a transgender person and navigating his way to process the death of his parents. In his conversation with People, he shared,
I’m very vulnerable nowadays on stage. I don’t know why it took me so long to stand up. Now I can’t stop. That’s my therapy. Life happens, and I go, ‘What’s funny about it? I’m literally trying to rescue myself.
He mentioned that he was in a phase of soul-searching when his oldest Kai, whom he shares with ex-Angela Zackery, revealed that they were transgender. Talking about his experience learning that, the comedian added,
From defiance to acceptance. It took me all of a week, and in that week, I grew the most that I ever did in my life. You understand the purpose of kids and the beauty of unconditional love. At the end of the day, in my heart, the only thing that matters to me is that my child is happy.
In his NY Times profile, Marlon Wayans revealed that he not only lost his parents but also 58 people whom he loved and who mattered to him in three years. He said he’s proud of the special because it’s going to make the audience feel, and that is important to him.
