The trailer of Spiderman: No Way Home confirmed that the film is going to take a dip into the concept of Multiverses that is introduced in the season finale of Marvel and the Disney+ series, Loki. As a result, fans are going to experience the return of villains from both Andrew Garlield’s and Tobey Maguire’s Spiderman movies. While there is still no confirmation on whether it will include Garfield and Maguire or not, the Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are already excited about revisiting the ramifications of their universes.

In the meanwhile, one theory is seemed to getting highlighted the most – Is Spiderman: No Way Home is going to be Miles Morales’ MCU debut or not?

In the comic world, Miles Morales is the Spiderman of an alternate continuity who took on the mantle after Peter Parker’s death. As the character grew old and it brought the Ultimate close, Miles got his introduction in the main Earth-616. After a few years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe provided the character his first reference with Aaron Davis mentioning him as a nephew in Tom Holland’s Spiderman: Homecoming.

Eventually, there has been no shortage of theories that explains how Miles will end up getting introduced in the MCU, especially for those who consider him aging with “The Blip”. With that said, there remained some wrinkles, specifically in between the dynamics of Miles and Peter as they’d end up being contemporaries just like they were in the comic world. But now, since we know that Spiderman: No Way Home is going to take a Multiverse dive, it’d become more apparent to acknowledge Miles in some way, apart from just confronting him as a younger version of himself in Holland’s Spider-Verse.

With that said, Miles could show up in multiple ways in the Multiverse that also includes a possibility of him getting introduced as the animated version from Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse. But there is yet another way that might pay off significantly – and that is a possibility that Miles will originate from the timeline of either Garfield or Maguire’s Spiderman. If both the actors end up showing in Spiderman: No Way Home together, there is a surety that fans will experience some sort of heroic act in the Multiverse fight. This could easily adopt young Miles Morales and encourage him to take on the mantle of his stead.

Additionally, this would also offer Marvel Studios to make a solo Morales movie that will uncover along with his main MCU continuity. It would allow portraying different versions of Miles on-screen and concepts that fans already know and love. Finally, it could also create a gateway to assess the “Raimiverse” of Maguire’s films, depending on which universe Miles Morales hails from. Plus, having both Peter and Miles together but in a separate universe could result in an epic crossover.

Spiderman: No Way Home is all set to get its theatrical release on December 17.
