Miley Cyrus Owned Her ‘Two and a Half Men’ Role So Well Ashton Kutcher Said the Show Became “Two and a half and three-quarters of a Woman”
Back when Miley Cyrus was in her teenage years, she made a guest cameo for a brief period on CBS’s Two and a Half Men. Although her role (Missi) was meant to remain for two episodes only, it was still a memorable and fun role that Cyrus pulled off perfectly. As expected, her castmates had a lot of praise for the actress, including Ashton Kutcher, who played the character of Walden.
And as for the Flower hitmaker herself, she had been excited to work in the sitcom as it was the one her family enjoyed a lot. Moreover, after her departure, Cyrus revealed her desire to return anytime she could in the future.
Ashton Kutcher Praised Miley Cyrus For Her Role in Two and a Half Men
When it comes to American sitcoms, Two and a Half Men cannot be ignored. Loved by a huge audience, the show went on for a long while till its twelfth and last season ended in 2015. Throughout the show, many celebrities have had short roles along with the original and permanent casts.
One of these guest appearances included Miley Cyrus, who made a cameo for two episodes in the show’s 10th season back in 2012. At 19, she played the role of Missi (short for Mississippi), who is the daughter of one of Walden’s (Ashton Kutcher) old friends.
As boring and unlikable as the role may have sounded on paper, The Climb hitmaker was able to bring out the fun in the character on screen. Afterward, her co-stars seem to have only praise for Cyrus concerning her acting ability and the vibe she brought to the set. Kutcher later complimented her saying,
“She walked in here from the table read and just owned it. It might become two and a half and three-quarters of a woman.”
Moreover, her castmates had already been excited to have the Hannah Montana star on their show.
Yet another of her castmates, Jon Cryer shared that Cyrus’s role required her to memorize a lot of words. And therefore it had been amazing to watch her deliver so many lines in her script so well.

Miley Cyrus’s role in Two and a Half Men had been that of a girl named Missi. A daughter of Walden’s old friend who comes to his place for a getaway. There she strikes up a romance with Jake (Angus T. Jones). However, Walden is also attracted to Missi at the same time, even though he is much older than her.
In the end, he had to sit back and watch the two young people make a romantic connection. As Cyrus’ role was only for two episodes, Missi eventually leaves to get back to her real boyfriend. And in the process, she ends things with Jake.
