The seventh movie of the series has cemented itself as the biggest earner of all, taking over the previous leading movie Mission: Impossible – Fallout which collected $61 million on its opening weekend.

On his Instagram, he shared a post with the director of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One Christopher McQuarrie, with the caption: “I love a double feature, and it doesn’t get more explosive (or more pink) than one with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.”

For the next few days though, there’s only one big star with keys to the box office. Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is currently in cinemas, having had its first release on July 12 in the US.
